Charlotte Tilbury was first luxury brand that I invested in and I still remember how happy I was when I opened my delivery from Net-a-porter. It was Filmstar Bronze & Glow Kit and it made me addicted to her brand. The product also made me more sensible towards my beauty purchases and I started investing in few good quality products than buying many just-ok ones. Wiser decisions!
The packaging of CT has always been so luxurious but the quality of products is superb too! I have always been so impressed with her products and today I’m sharing some of her bestselling products for those who haven’t tried the brand yet or would love to invest in any or all of these products.
- Magic Cream* | £70 for 50 ml
Honestly when your skin looks good, your makeup sits better. This award-winning coveted secret formula by Charlotte Tilbury and is adored backstage by celebrities and models! This iconic moisturiser lifts the complexion and intensely moisturises the skin. This moisturiser has anti-age BioNymph Peptide Complex that stimulates collagen production while fighting free radicals. Hyaluronic acid and wild pansy extracts in the cream seal-in moisture so skin feels renewed and rejuvenated. Rosehip and camellia oils and antioxidant vitamin E transforms dull complexions for hydrated, youthful skin. SPF15 and an anti-UVA filter protects skin from the sun’s ageing effects.
The cream is very rich and if you have dry skin or skin similar to mine (combination to dry and sometimes dehydrated), you would love this cream. This is great for plumping up your skin, cheating a 8-hour relaxing sleep and boosting radiance before makeup. Since the cream has SPF in it, I recommend using it for going out only and not using it as night time moisturiser. For night time, you may consider CT Night cream which is specifically designed for the purpose.
- Wonderglow Face primer* | £38.50 for 40 ml
Another award winning product from the brand is the Wonderglow Instant soft focus beauty flash Primer. This light reflecting face primer turns around dull, tired-looking skin in a flash and gives a quick pick-me-up dewy glow. I personally don’t like matte foundations and always look for dewy and satin finishes. This primer is great for pairing up with all sort of foundations and can even transform matte foundations to semi-matte finishes. This primer can be used underneath any foundation or used alone for an effortlessly dewy look.
- Fluorescent core light diffuser absorbs UV particles from the sun and reemits their energy as visible light, illuminating your skin.
- Soft focus ceramic microspheres smooth over wrinkles and imperfect skin tone, creating an anti-ageing optical illusion for a flawless, poreless complexion.
- Anti-aging BioNymph Peptide Complex stimulates collagen to promote elasticity in your skin.
This is one of the best primers I have ever tried and see myself buying this over and over again.
I have featured this product so many times on my social media and blog. The highlighter is so finely milled and gives a lit-from-within subtle look but can also be layered for intense highlight. When I first bought this, I was not too sure of the bronzer/sculpt part of the kit as I thought its too light for my skin. Actually it is quite buildable and looks natural than harsh contours. Now I absolutely love the bronzer and highlighter both. Colour-rich pigments in this kit are rolled into elastomer pearls that smooth and buff your skin for a blendable and even coverage. This is the ONLY kit that I love to go for when I travel or for special occasions. This is the product I can totally depend on and know this always makes me look amazing. That speaks volume!
- Instant look in a Palette – Seductive Beauty | £49 for 15 gms
This is the palette that can instantly take you from subtle day look to sultry smokey night time look. The palette features 3 eye shadows, one sculpt/bronze , 2 blushes for swish and pop and 1 highlighter. I really like the shade selection here and can see it working for variety of skin tones. The palette is marked with numbers making it perfect for beginners or for makeup pros. This is an absolute must-have for makeup lovers and you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend this palette.
- Lip Cheat – Pillow Talk* | £16
This lip liner is perfect to re-shape or re-size your lips. This also gives a blank canvas for your lipsticks. I have medium skin and my lips are two-toned so I like using nude lip liners to give an even base to my lipsticks. The formula is rich and velvety that helps reshape and resize lips for a perfect pout. Pillow Talk is a barely-there nude shade that suits all skin tones. The liner has waterproof formula ensuring there’s no smudging or feathering and stays upto 6 hours.
Matte revolution lipsticks are the most comfortable lipsticks that give a soft matte finish without drying out the lips. This lipstick has 3D glowing pigments that create the illusion if wider , fuller lips illuminated from within. The lipsticks are square angled at the tip for precision application. The colour is buildable and long lasting on the lips. Bond girl is a natural berry red shade that looks absolutely beautiful on all skin tones. This is my go-to lipstick for autumn winters.
Hot Lips range of lipsticks were created in collaboration with 12 Hypnotising women. Hot Lips in Secret Salma is a deep rose plum shade inspired by Salma Hayek and brings out brown eyes perfectly. This lipstick comes in iconic Matte revolution formula that gives lips a soft matte finish without drying them and also a wider, fuller look – illuminated from within. The shade Secret Salma can be worn at any time of the year but looks more beautiful during autumn winter.

I am not getting the Magic Cream because I honestly think it’s an overpriced moisturizer however I want to get the Wonder Glow foundation, the powder and the blush that looks like nipple. LOL!

Magic Cream and Primer excites me most. I have dull and dry skin and think these will help my skin to look more glowy and prep them for makeup.
I used to love her foundation but don’t find it great on my drier skin for some reason. The lipstick bullets are always good and I love the CT packaging. the face palette looks gorgeous!
