Hope you’re well. If you have been following me on social media then you must be aware of my recent posts about Makeup Revolution’s ‘Fortune favours the Brave’ palette. This is Jane Cunningham aka British Beauty Blogger’s collaboration with Makeup Revolution London. Jane has been working on this since 2015 and she finally posted some pics about this palette early March 2016 (that is when she thought is the right time and the palette was ready to hit the market). The official launch date was 17th March but Makeup Revolution launched it on 14th March exclusively on their website. I received mine on 16th but most people got it on 17th March so the Instagram, Twitter and Youtube was filled with images and videos of this palette (that’s very clever of MUR!!!)
Now let’s talk about palette 🙂
MUR has really amped up the packaging for this launch..and I can see Jane wanted nothing else but PERFECTION! The palette comes in gold card box with some embossed round logo detail. Casing is made of plastic but has gold matte paint which makes it stand out among traditional MUR palettes. It comes with a full size mirror and a double ended brush
which I think makes it very travel friendly (you need not carry a separate mirror). Looks very chic and classy just like you expect from high end palettes!
It has 30 shades from lights to really dark ones, Jane has covered us all! She has also given names to each shade and names are very appropriate. The palette comes with a plastic sheet that has all the names written (like we have with Sleek makeup palettes). I have included swatches to give idea of shades 🙂
This 30 pan palette is full of creamy mattes, sheens and metallic eyeshadows. The formula seems great as most of the shadows are very easily blendable. I had trouble with just one eyeshadow (Soft shade) and that’s mainly because they were not showing up well on my Olive skin. The other shades are very pigmented and shows up beautifully on my skin.
Look how beautiful the shimmery shades look and some metallics have flakes of other metallic shades too..I have not seen any drugstore palette more beautiful than this.
We usually see that if there is a collaboration of brands with top notch Bloggers or Celebs, the prices of product becomes ridiculously high. This is not the case with this palette. You can buy this for just £9.99 in the UK. If you order through Makeup Revolution App, you can get a discount of 20% with a discount code they provide for downloading. The palette will be available in the Superdrug stores from next week hopefully.
This palette is a total winner for me and will be very helpful for someone who doesnot want to invest much but need just one palette to try various looks.
Overall rating: 4.8/5

This post is not sponsored and I bought this palette from my hard earned money.
