Hair Care & Styling on Ms Tantrum Blog

I have been trying some really amazing hair care and styling products past few months and think its the right time to share those with you because why should I have all the fun 😉 ?!! Most of these are affordable options from drugstore which is even better :).

This is an all-in-one hair oil that is a synergistic blend of coconut, sesame, olive, sunflower & arnica, scented with rosemary & lavender. This formula is the perfect solution for anyone with dry, damaged hair (like mine). The penetrating oils work deep into the hair shaft repairing broken, brittle hair & smoothing the follicles leaving you with silky, conditioned locks. I use this oil as an overnight treatment and sometimes mix it with almond oil and warm it up for a nice head massage and leave it overnight then wash in the morning. This treatment repairs my hair and make them soft and healthy.

Christophe Robin Cleansing Volumising Paste review on Ms Tantrum Blog

This is a deep cleansing, shampoo-like treatment with a unique consistency and volume-boosting benefits. I got a mini version of this cleansing paste via Look Fantastic Birthday Edit box. This stuff is serious business… It’s so good. One of the newest gems from Famous French haircare brand, this volumising paste gives density to your hair while protecting and preserving hair color as well. This is a gritty cleansing paste that emulsifies when in contact with water. This is the first product I tried from the brand and boy oh boy..if you have dry scalp issues and if your hair can get easily flat, this would be a true saviour!! Also to be noted that this is free from parabens, silicone, SLS and colorants.

If you have dry, damaged or frizzy hair, this deep conditioning mask would be your hair saver! This deep conditioner saturates, quenches and replenishes to restore balance, softness and shine for smooth, frizz-defying results. This is a restores hair from daily wear and tear as well as damage from heat styling. This treatment mask contains Milk Protein, Vitamin E and Avocado Oil that deliver a vital dose of balancing moisture to quench dehydrated hair and help mend surface damage. With regular use, dry, brittle hair is transformed into soft, silky, ultra-glossy hair that defies frizz. Superdrug has 2 for £8 offer going on at the moment so I got couple of backups ordered :).

TIGI hair products review on Ms Tantrum Blog

For my coloured hair peeps, this is a right choice for you. This is a luxuriously rich and buttery mask, bursting with nutrients that will transform your coloured hair. The mask combines Pro-Vitamin B, shea butter and sweet almond oil together to ignite salon-worthy colour back into your tired tresses, whilst enriching your hair in moisture from root to tip. My hair look more healthy, colour lasts longer and it also restores moisture into my hair. I have ordered a backup already.

This shine spray combines a super dose of conditioners and shine-boosting silicone to help conceal hair and leave you with a shiny finish without the frizz. This spray gives hair an enviable shine without any hold, meaning you can have gorgeously glossy hair and style it how you want afterwards!  My hair feel and look softer every time I use this. Even if I do not use any styling tool, I use this spray to give my hair a healthy shine.

Lee Stafford Hair styling products

I am more of a straight hair person when it comes to styling so I was slightly nervous before trying this chopstick but I am so glad I did. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this first time last month and I can’t stop using this ever since. First of all, the curls are tight, they are quick to do and they hold the curls. The barrel is ceramic coated with a cool tip and heats up to 200 degree C very fast. Superdrug has a quick how-to-use video for this wand just in case you like a video tutorial. I also like the fact that this is very affordable and will make a great Christmas gift too. You can see a little glimpse of the curls (though the photos were taken in low light but you will get an idea).

This is a luxurious non-greasy and lightweight hair oil for smooth, shiny & healthy looking hair. The can be used as a finishing oil or as a dreamy overnight treatment when your hair need an extra TLC. I use this as a finishing oil to add shine and remove frizz from my hair. It has a nourishing and smoothing effect to hair. The oil is easily available at Drugstore/Highstreet and is so affordable too.

Now this is another lovely product if you style your hair or you just leave them air dry. Being a mommy of 3.5 yr old, I usually don’t get much time for heat styling and I like quick options to make my frizzy hair more manage-able yet enhance my natural hair. This is a light moisturizing cream helps enhance the natural hair with subtle texture and added lift, so you can simply wash it and leave it. It also contains heat protection to shield the hair from damaging effects of heated styling tools or for blow drying.

Have you tried any of these products before? What are your favorite hair care or styling products? Let me know in the comments below.

Until next time..
