Hello Dolls,

Hope you’re well.

You know how much I love creme/gel eyeshadows..they are so much easier to blend and you don’t even need a mirror to do that. You look so much put together if you just dab your finger lightly with such creme shadows over your lid. Today I am going to share my most loved gel/creme shadow…And that’s shade Galaxy by Illamasqua vintage metallix. This is a part of Illamasqua’s Equinox collection which was released in late 2015. This is an Antique Gold shade , you know I am a sucker for earthy / warm shades and this is just wow!

The packaging is luxe and it comes in a glass pot with their regular black screw in lid. The lid has a Illamasqua logo on top and glass pot has ILLAMASQUA written on sides.. very neat and clean like you expect from high end makeup.

The formula is so smooth and gel like that it blends like a dream. If you compare it with maybelline color tattoos, these are much smoother. It sets really quickly so you need not worry about budging this all over. This eyeshadow does not crease on my lids which is a plus 🙂 .

The best part is this shade can be used as a base for many powder eyeshadows to lift up the colour or to add shine to them. I sometimes use it as a gel liner too. Its a multi purpose product really!

It retails for £17 in the UK and you can buy it directly from Illamasqua website (here) .

My rating 4.8/5

I do not have anything bad to say about this and this post is NOT sponsored! I will repurchase this and will also be trying their vintage green shade in this range.

I highly recommend this product and its totally worth investing in this eyeshadow. You can definitely count on me!

Its my all time fave Dipti..After trying this, i am thinking of trying some other shades from this brand. There is not even single makeup product from Illamasqua that has let me down yet. I am so impressed! Seriously a must have–specially for the party look. These shades go well with our Indian skin tones and partywear outfits.

I might pick up some more shades when they have offers..yes these are pretty expensive but worth it!

      1. You should check out MUR’s eyeshadows too, I don’t know if they’re as good

        1. @Dipti I know about their matte, shimmery and foil eyeshadow singles but do they have gel or cream shadows as well?
