Lip Monthly | March 2017

I was little more excited about March Lip Monthly bag as it was getting better every month. Unfortunately, this month I am slightly disappointed primarily because one of the lipstick was exactly same as January bag which is a shame. However on a positive note, the lipstick that’s repeated is a beautiful shade and high quality so I might gift this to my friend.

I also received a sheet mask which is super exciting as this is the first time I received any mask from Lip Monthly. They did include lip balm and eye serum in the past which were great.

• Manna Kadar Liplocked Priming Lip Wand – Tarte (Punchy Peach) | $24

These lip wands are chunky crayons that are perfect to keep with you when you are on the go and complement any look. These are matte yet moisturizing and long lasting. These lipsticks are enriched with Vitamin A & E which keep lips moisturized all day long. The pigmentation is great and the shade Tarte is a punchy peach/coral shade that looks amazing on skin. This is such a gorgeous peachy pink lipstick I received in this bag (which is repeated from January bag). The formula is very moisturising and as it says its a priming lipstick which I think has beneficial effects on lips. It has long-lasting and nourishing formula but with a semi-matte finish. Manna Kadar has combined a Primer and a Lipstick into one to create a stay-put application all day.  This lipstick is enriched with Vitamin E which contain soothing & healing properties with a semi-matte finish.

• Coastal Scents Lipstick – 06 | $5.95

These lipsticks are very creamy and long lasting. Shade 06 is a beautiful pearl finish lilac shade that might look amazing on lighter skin tones. However, this looks little off on my medium skin and pigmented lips. The swatches makes me want to use this as a cream highlighter so I am going to try this as an illuminator. These are paraben-free.
