Loving Lately | June & July 2017

June & July favourites - Ms Tantrum Blog

June flew in a blink of an eye and July is almost over too. Before I forget sharing my monthly favourites like I did last month, I thought of doing a bit early this month. I have been loving some more products lately but I would like to dedicate separate posts for them so keep an eye out for them too. Last couple of months have been a mix of Beauty and Fashion so I have included both here 🙂

Intensive-C Radiance Peel by Murad Skincare brightens skin, visibly improves texture and hydrates to restore radiance and even skin tone after one use. It brightens, smoothes and hydrates skin, reversing the signs of environmental ageing. This is an easy to use, at-home treatment which enhances luminosity to reveal a more radiant complexion. This treatment uses deeply anti-ageing Glycolic Acid to exfoliate the skin and accelerate cell turnover, revealing younger cells, removing dullness and improving skin texture. Antioxidants Vitamin C and Indian Fig protect against free radical damage and strengthen skin’s natural defences, whilst collagen production is enhanced by myrtle extract to boost youthful resilience and elasticity, enhancing skin’s firmness and making it look younger. My skin looks brighter, radiant and healthy after every use.

Murad Intensive-C Peel

This 3-in-1 moisturiser combines the Anti-Cell  Burnout Complex with high molecular weight hyaluronic acid to plump and smooth the skin. The anti-pollution polysaccharides and soft focus mattifying powders create a natural veil on the skin. This formulation limits the quantity of pollutant particles deposited on the skin, visibly smoothing wrinkles and restoring its natural healthy glow. Its velvety texture is light and suitable for all skin types.

This moisturiser doesn’t interfere with my makeup so I highly recommend trying this day moisturizer as this also provides 8 hours of anti-pollution protection.

Daniel Wellington Classic Petite Melrose Watch & Classic Rose gold cuff

Daniel Wellington Classic Petite Melrose Watch & Classic Rose Gold cuff

This watch is defined by its contemporary look and sophisticated design, and is a must-have staple for every modern icon. The rose gold mesh band is very sleek and flexible. The dial is very thin, lightweight and minimalist too. The diameter of dial is 32 mm with a case thickness of 6 mm which is perfect for my wrist. The strap width is 14 mm which will work for bigger or smaller wrists. The watch features Japanese Quartz Movement. The beautifully crafted mesh strap is soft and lightweight, and ensures the watch sits comfortably on your wrist. The mesh is made from stainless steel, and is available with a silver or rose gold plating, and its length can easily be adjusted at the convenience of your own home. This watch has interchangeable straps and is water-resistant upto 3 ATM (Rain Resistant). Excessive contact with water may cause damage to the watch though. The watch also comes with a Limited Warranty of 24 Months #bonus. This is the elegant timepiece that looks just as good for a night out as it does in broad daylight. The rose gold cuff also fits perfectly onto my wrist and has Daniel Wellington engraved onto it. The classic cuff goes perfectly with the watch and both look amazing together.

This is a long-lasting lip tint that gives a stained effect, while jojoba infused lip gloss keeps lips hydrated and nourished. I am really loving the shade Pink Tint & Silk Gloss. This can be worn layered or separately. For an everyday quick pick-me-up look, you can go for a stained lip with a gloss on top. I really like the formula and the pigment of lip tints is strong enough to stain the hyper-pigmentation on lips. I can’t go out without a lip product due to uneven tone on my lips. These lip tints are perfect for a natural and quick look. Also great for early morning school runs when I want to look put together but don’t have time to do my makeup. The silk glosses are bonus to keep my lips hydrated and amps up the tint effect. As it’s a 2-in-1 product, I don’t need to carry many products in my bag. These lip tints are hydrating and long lasting but may require top up after few hours depending upon drinking and eating.

This perfect pink shade boasts nourishing superfood ingredients for gorgeously healthy nails. It’s just perfect for summer, on fingers or toes in the sea and on the sand! This shade looks beautiful even if you do not have fair hands. This is the first pink shade that I am actually loving plus I got to try Nails Inc for the first time via LMB. This nail paint lasts through lots of washing and housework.

Too Faced Prismatic Higlighter

This highlighter is the newest highlighter in my collection. This is bright gold and looks absolutely stunning on medium skin. Its perfect for summers when the skin has a bit of bronze and tan. This highlighter uses unique Prisma Shine patented technology and combines the best of powder, liquid, baked and cream formulas for an unparalleled radiance. If you have lighter or pale skin, you can go for other two shades (Blinded by the Light or Ray of Light) of prismatic highlighter.

I was expecting this to be too glowy/slightly shimmery like some of the other illuminating primers in the market but this one gives a subtle, healthy and radiant glow. This white translucent primer doesn’t make skin look ashy and sinks into the skin giving a luminous glow. Makeup sits really well on this and this does not make me look shiny/oily. If you have oily skin, i do not think it will make you look oilier. This also doubles up as a concealer to hide away redness, as a light foundation to even out skin or soft illuminator to boost radiance. This can also be mixed with liquid foundations to give a dewy look to your skin. This blurs out slight imperfections and is perfect for spring/summer when we all want that healthy glow. This is definitely a good investment that pays instant returns if you’re thinking to buy. You’d love how your skin will look with this.

  1. I’d like to try Caudalie 3-in-1 moisturizer if it doesn’t interfere with makeup cause moisturizer makes my makeup look weird. BTW your blog’s new layout looks chic.

    1. You’d love this moisturizer 🙂 They also do a vinosource moisturising sorbet. That’s also fabulous. Thank you for noticing. I wanted something more bright and bigger font size . Photos are also bigger in this theme. I hope it works out with all features and all. I have changed theme for the first time since I started my blog so I was slightly nervous.

  2. Wow, I really love the products in here….. That too faced highlighter stole th show…. It’s packaging is to die for….
