New Makeup Bits I tried | Milani + Brushworks

Milani Cosmetics & BrushworksWhen it comes to makeup, the wishlist is never ending. I have always wanted to try Milani products since it was only available in the US and everyone used to talk about them. Thankfully it is now available easily in the UK. And ever wondered if the oval brushes are better than the regular makeup brushes? I was curious to see as well so I was super excited when I tried Brushworks HD Oval brushes for the first time.

Milani Cosmetics Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation + Concealer – 07 Sand | £13

This foundation is truly one of the best ones I have tried when it comes to coverage. This is a full coverage concealer and liquid foundation in one ideal for creating an even, faultless base. I however do not require much coverage on most days and prefer sheer to medium coverage foundations. So, I like to mix this with an oil in 1:1 ratio. My favourite oil to mix this foundation with is Caudalie Divine Oil and apply this mix with Brushworks Oval foundation brush. This gives me a beautiful coverage, finish and my skin looks perfect! If you like full coverage, you can apply as it is. It conceals it all and you do not need separate concealer with this.

This foundation applies seamlessly over the face offering a flawless, matte complexion eradicating the need for a separate concealer. The formula is very pigmented and it needs just one layer for a naturally perfected, water resistant veil that covers everything from blemishes and redness, to dark circles. The shade range of this foundation is great plus this one comes with an affordable price tag! So, Yes please !!!!

Milani Baked Bronzer – Soleil | £11

This is a finely milled face and body baked bronzer embellished with threads of gold shimmer. The texture is very unique, easily blendable and gives a beautiful bronzed summer glow. The shade soleil is very gold for me..but has a hint of bronze too. This is very unique product as it can be used on body for an overall bronze as well as glow and can also be used on face when you want to skip highlighter and use only bronzer. At first I was unsure of this product and thought of passing this to a friend or my sister but now I want to keep it for days I am wearing a dress and want my skin to look healthy, glowy and bronzed. This is a stunning product!

Milani Cosmetics Colour statement moisture matte Lipstick – Ruby Valentine | £7

This is a non-drying, moisture infused matte lip colour that is easy to apply and is a comfortable, long lasting wear Lipstick. The texture is rich, suede-like and applies smoothly for opaque, full coverage colour in just one sweep. Ruby Valentine is a berry toned red that looks absolutely amazing on all skin tones. The lipstick is vegan friendly like other Milani cosmetics products.

  1. I love the foundation but sometimes find it too heavy, going to have to mix it with a oil soon and see what it is like! xx

  2. I have not tried any products from Milani, this foundation sounds so amazing, i like good coverage most of the days. The lip shade is so beautiful. I have never tried mixing oil with foundation, but it sounds like a great idea.
