There’s no denying the fact that Charlotte Tilbury products are one of the top luxury makeup products that come with most glamorous packaging! Recently a new limited edition palette called – The Instant Eye Palette was launched by the brand. The first thing that stands out in the palette is the glam gold packaging and the shade selection making it perfect for all occasions.
Packaging | The palette comes in a beautiful gold travel-friendly suitcase compact with a high quality mirror. It doesn’t come with a brush which doesn’t make any difference to me as I never use brushes that come with palettes. I tend to use tapered blending and flat eyeshadow brushes for the purpose.
Shades | The palette has 12 neutral and universally flattering shades without a single dud. I like that the palette is marked with 4 different looks from Day (light ivory and taupes), Desk (peaches & bronzes), Date (classic smokey eye with brown hues) and Disco (full glam dark smokey eye) and each look has three shades – a base colour, a shading tone and a hue for adding extra definition. So even an Amateur can’t get it wrong! However, I recommend mixing and matching your shades and looks as there are many possibilities with this palette.
Formula | The eyeshadows have control-pressed formula which is designed for less eyeshadow fallout and more control. They are incredibly silky and highly blendable.
Pigmentation | It takes a bit of building and layering up to get a strong colour specially with lighter shades but that makes impossible for amateur makeup enthusiasts to mess up.
