Cherrypicked Colourpop collection | Edit 2

Colourpop eyeshadows , blushes, highlighters and bronzersCouple of weeks ago I posted edit 1 of my cherry picked  Colourpop collection here. I shared lovely swatches of my lip products that I have in my collection and today I am going to share my cheek as well as eye products.

Please be aware that Colourpop shipping and custom charges increase the overall cost of products so readers outside United States should keep the extra cost attached to the products in consideration.

  • Blushers

Colourpop blushers are amazing and retail for $8 in the US. The formula is so different and I don’t have anything like that in my collection. If you touch the product, you will feel like touching it again. The texture is something in between mousse and powder. Both blushes in my collection are very pigmented.

I picked two blushers from colourpop and one of them is Flush’d which is from KaePop Collection. I believe the collaborated products are limited collection. Kaepop Collection was collaboration with Karrueche Tran who is a model with flawless deep tone skin that looks absolutely stunning.

Flush’d is a coral peach toned matte blush with slight golden sheen that looks amazing on all skin tones.

The next blush I picked from colourpop is Between the Sheets which is a beautiful cool toned soft pink toned blush that provides natural flush of colour to the cheeks. I look forward to wearing this blush often in colder months. This blush is matte finish without any sheen.

The longevity of colourpop blushes is also good so you need not worry about fading these from your cheeks. The best way to apply these is to use your fingers instead of brush.

  • Highlighters

Highlighters from Colourpop are very finely milled just like high end highlighters but at fraction of price. These retail for $8 on Colourpop website just like blushers and bronzers. I have shades Wisp and Dream Catcher which are in pearlized finish.

The texture is cream to powder like other colourpop cheek products. However, highlighters feel softer than blushes while making swatch.

Wisp is a finely milled gold shimmer that looks absolutely stunning specially on medium to deep skin tones. This is one of the most popular highlighters from Colourpop.

Dream Catcher is more of a muted rose gold shade that looks gorgeous when applied. Its more of pink toned which i am not very fond of but I still like it when its on my skin.

Dream Catcher is not as shiny and bright as Wisp so it can be a everyday highlighter for many for that subtle muted highlight.

  • Bronzer

I have only one bronzer from colourpop and that is Bronze me from Kaepop collection. As mentioned above its a limited edition collection in collaboration with Karrueche Tran.  All Bronzers retail for $8 on colourpop website.

The shade Bronze me is just warm enough for medium to deep skin tones. This has finely milled gold flakes of shimmer that gives a beautiful sheen like baked bronzers. This may look slightly too orange or warm on Fair to Pale skin tones so you may want to stay away from this shade.

  • Eyeshadows

I ordered 6 eyeshadows out of which I kept 4 with me and gifted others. Eyeshadows retail for $5 on Colourpop website. All eyeshadows are super pigmented and the formula is mousse to powder. These are incredibly soft to touch like Colourpop cheek products.

Sunset Blvd is a pearlized finish gold eyeshadow that looks amazing on my eyes. It has beautiful sheen and is not too bright. I like to wear this on days when I am not sure what I should use as eyeshadow. This is a light wash of colour to your lids that makes you look put together. This eyeshadow is a part of KaePop Collection.

KathleenLights is a vibrant bronze gold shade that has a pearlized finish. This is a shade that gets noticed in a beautiful way. I get so many complements when I wear this. Its definitely a must have if you love warm gold and bronze shades. This eyeshadow was a part of Kathleen Lights where the Light is limited edition collaboration with the beautiful Youtuber Kathleen Lights.

Trois is a beautiful Fall/Autumn plum/maroon shade that has warm undertones. It is a limited edition eyeshadow that was a collaboration with Jenn Im who is a famous Korean-American Youtuber. This eyeshadow has satin finish and looks incredibly beautiful on skin. I am looking forward to wearing this more in colder months.

Sequin is a metallic finish pink-copper toned eyeshadow with silver and gold glitter. This is sooooo stunning, i tell you! I get asked about this shade whenever I post swatches or talk about this on my instastories or snapchat. I like to pair this up with H&M eye pencil in Grand Cru 🙂 This is not a limited edition eyeshadow so you can easily get your hands on it.

  1. Besides Trois, Sequin and Kathleenlights (which I definitely want now!) I have literally all the same products as you :’) I love Flush’d and Dreamcatcher especially and definitely recommend Carry On if you fancy trying any other of their bronzers

  2. I adore their eyeshadows but only have tried the metallic ones as I feel like the matte might not perform as well because of the unique formula. I need to add Sunset Blvd to my collection, it’s stunning! x

  3. I love your choices, Trois, Wisp and Sunset Blvd immediately stand out to me! I love the burgundy/burnt red look on the eyes atm, I really want to find a dupe for Dior’s Orchid eye duo from Spring 2016 as I’m really running low on it! Trois looks like a fairly close match! Gorgeous swatch picks lovely

  4. Really want to get my hands on some colourpop! its just a shame about the customs charges/shipping. KathleenLights is a shade that just calls out to me, similarly with ‘wisp’ as a highlight – maybe one day I’ll finally order some for myself, I’m just so scared of additional costs 🙁 xxx

  5. I love ColourPop products so much! I have Between the Sheets, Wisp, KathleenLights and Bronze Me. Bronze Me can be a bit too dark on me sometimes, but if I use a little and blend it out really nicely then it looks amazing 🙂
