If you know me for a while, you would know I have a thing for luxury lipsticks. Givenchy is one of the brands I had not tried before so the first thing that caught my eye was the lipstick. Last month I picked up three lipsticks from the Rouge Interdit Satin range and have been reaching for them so much since.
Packaging: The lipstick case is absolutely gorgeous! These lipstick bullets come in black casing with a ribbon accent detail that makes them stand out of other luxury lipsticks in the market.
Formula & Finish: These are exceptionally smooth and long-wearing lipstick. The formula is very comfortable and the lipstick has satin finish. This lipstick adds sexy, light-reflective color to the lips as it nourishes and hydrates with powerful antioxidants.
Shades: The shades I chose are Nude (Nude in the Dark), Pink (Boyish Rose) & Red (Rouge Insomnie) to get me covered for all moods and occasions.
Nude in the Dark No. 5 is a peachy nude with soft rosy and brown undertones that looks absolutely gorgeous on all skin tones. The shade works really well with a dark smokey eye look or a natural day time look.
Boyish Rose No. 10 is a rosy pink shade which again is a perfect choice for any skin tone. It looks beautiful at any time of the day and in any season. Its my most-reached-for shade among these three shades.
Rouge Insomnie No. 12 is a stunning red with blue undertones. Your teeth will look white with this one.
Single swipe will give you very good pigmentation but you can still increase the intensity by swiping more than once.

Overall thoughts: From packaging to formula and to actual shades, I love everything about these lipsticks. The lipsticks are so moisturising and satin finish looks beautiful on all skin tones. Lips look healthy when I wear these lipsticks. I am so happy with long lasting formula even though these are not matte lipsticks. I can’t wait to try more shades from the brand. If you want to invest in a single shade, I would suggest choosing a neutral shade as you would get more use out of it. But if you are a red lip lover, a bold red would be a perfect choice too!
