Hope you all are very well and enjoying this transition from winters to spring. I love Spring and as soon as it comes, I like my makeup to look fresh , dewy and just very healthy. I keep my matte lipsticks in and take out my creamsheen and satin lipsticks. My nails usually have pastels or some bright fun colours…yeah no more neutrals 😉
Today I want to talk about Kiko Milano smooth temptation – Limited edition lipsticks. Kiko Milano is an Italian drugstore brand which is so under-rated but has so many hidden gems. I did not know about these amazing lipsticks until I got my first parcel from Kiko, Italia. I have tried one of their lip liners (which I love so much) before but I bought it from some other website.
Packaging
First of all, I love the packaging. It came in black card type box (just like Mac lip liners) and its not conventional lipstick bullet. It is a very sleek and modern stick kind of lipstick. So easy to travel with and looks more like a thick pencil (just like many metallic eye shadow pencil bases). It comes in twist-up form so you need to twist the bullet for the lipstick to come up like you do with the conventional lipsticks.
Texture/Formula
These lipsticks are very moisturising on the lips, glides effortlessly and are very pigmented. The staying power is 3-4 hours which is quite decent for a drugstore creamsheen lipstick. Even high-end lipsticks of this texture stays almost for same period. These are Dermatologically tested, Non-comedogenic and Paraben free.
Shades
I have shades ’04 English Rose’ and ’06 Rosewood’. Both are so beautiful and can be worn every single day. You can see the swatches below. I am sure such shades are liked by so many women. 04 English Rose is more on a peachy side and 06 Rosewood is a tad bit darker and comes more in mauve family.
Price, Quantity & Availability
These lipsticks have 1.2 gms of product and retail for £7.90 and are available from www.kikocosmetics.com or you can buy from any Kiko stores (if you live nearby to any Kiko store). I know, there are very limited Kiko stores in the UK so I ordered these online and it arrived in 8 days from Italy :).

Hey, I love both these shades too. Unfortunately I cant find anymore of these on the website or in the stores I;ve tried. Do have any other products from other brands that might have the same shade and finish?

Hi Heer,Thanks for stopping by. I will check out my whole lipstick collection to see if i can find a similar shade and finish from other brand. This was unfortunately limited edition lipsticks from last year but they usually sell creamy finish lipsticks often so it should not be a problem. I will check it out for u.
Hey! I love the Rosewood and I’ve been looking for a similar shade with the similar texture for ages now! Do you have any recommendations please???
