Korean Beauty | Caolion Skincare

There is no denying the fact that Korea is an epicentre of great skincare. When it comes to Korean Skincare, the results are visibly clear and the products are very efficient. I got a chance to try couple of products from Korean beauty brand Caolion which is fairly new in the UK.

Caolion is an advocate for natural beauty and they created products by harmonizing and enhancing traditional Korean skincare secrets with modern technology. Caolion’s Founder Eun Hee Joo believes that Edible cosmetics will not irritate skin! She created products with tasting each ingredient thinking if the product is edible it will not irritate those with same skin concerns. Caolion Cosmetics excluded irritable chemicals on the skin used for instant effects and focused on essential moisture and nutrition that promote natural beauty and health of the skin.

• Caolion Pore Purifying & Tightening Hot & Cool Foam Cleanser Duo | £20

This cleanser duo from Korean skincare brand Caolion will get you addicted for pore cleansing & tightening effect. The top cleanser (Pore Purifying Steam Foam Cleanser) from the duo has brown sugar  and konjact root which warms up after 10 seconds of application and massaging. This cleanser completely removes all impurities, exfoliates your skin leaving it smooth and nourished after washing the product off your face. This leaves your skin squeaky clean (if that makes sense) and is best suited as a Night time cleanser. I like to use this once a week as this is definitely a father of all cleansers in my skincare stash.

The bottom (Pore Tightening Cooling Foam Cleanser) contains sea salt, eucommia bark, kaolin clay that has a cooling effect on the skin. This cleanser will soothe your skin, tighten the pores and gently cleanse it. During cleansing, when the temperature goes down with cooling effect, this cleanser depuffs skin and tightens enlarged pores for skin firmness and contouring. This is more like a morning cleanser as it is very gentle on skin and tightens pores for makeup application.

Overall thoughts: These cleansers deep cleanse, detoxify and add brightness to my skin and will definitely be a great find for you. This cleanser duo is 100% made in Korea and is available at Boots. It is definitely worth trying.

After enjoying the cleanser duo for over a month, I got to try another product from this fabulous brand and its their Pore tightening day & night cream duo. This duo contains Pore Tightening Bounce Cream on top which is a day cream and Pore Tightening Memory Sleeping Mask which is an overnight mask.

Overall Thoughts: I am so impressed with this duo as the day bounce cream keeps my skin nourished and hydrated while the memory sleep mask gives me an overnigh glow and radiance. Some of the ingredients like Snail Secretion Filtrate are great for anti-ageing too.
