This crystal nail file is a the ‘Rolls Royce’ of nail files. It glides smoothly and evenly along the nail edge, turning the excess nail to dust while leaving the newly filed edge completely smooth and ‘sealed’. This looks stunning and very chic too.
Why is it different? The finest crystal was specially treated to create a superior nail file with a filing surface guaranteed to last 25 years. With other files, you have to file from sides of the nail towards the middle but with Crystal files you can file back and forth without damaging the nails. This is the only file that can be used in this way. It’s unique surface seals the ends of the nails and helps with peeling and splitting.
This file should be rinsed with warm water from time to time to clean and restore performance. This comes with an aluminium case to protect the file when not in use.

- Nail Polishes – Miss Behavin’ & Maneater | £12 for 12ml
I have always heard amazing things about LD Nail paints so I got super excited when I was asked if I would like to try these for Halloween. I love Blacks and Dark Blues so I picked up these two shades – Miss Behavin’ which is a gorgeous midnight blue and Maneater which is blackest black shade that gives almost like a wet look. These are long wearing high shine formulas and don’t chip fast. These shades are not just perfect for Halloween look but also great for everyday wear.
- Ensure nail tips are smooth and even in length/shape and the nails are clean, dry and free from any oily residue. Apply Base Coat to the nail and allow to dry.
- Apply two thin coats of colour over the base rather than just one thick coat. This helps reduce chipping and extend wear time. Wipe one side of the brush on the neck of the bottle so it holds just enough to cover one nail. (Never overload the brush with colour)
- Present the brush to the nail about 2 mm away from the cuticle then push the brush towards the cuticle before making the sweep back towards the tip, usually 3 swipes will cover the nail, don’t forget to ‘slightly swipe’ and seal the tips of the nails with colour.
- Ideally, finish with Topcoat to add shine and to seal and protect the colour, don’t forget to also swipe the tips with topcoat to extend the wear time.
- LIGHT & DARK Original ‘Touch Up’ Solid EDP | £14.50 for 15ml
This EDP comes in a portable stick that is easy to travel with and has got moisturizing properties. This ensures your skin holds fragrance better, for a longer-lasting, deeper fragrance experience.
Top: Mandarin, Grapefruit, Peach, White Pepper
Heart: Lily, Gardenia, Jasmine, Rose
Base: Myrrh, Patchouli, Incense, Amber
This is a fruity mixture of pepper, myrrh and incense, offers a warm welcoming unique fragrance. With its heart of gardenia, jasmine, lily and rose, which are merged with top notes of mandarin, grapefruit, peach and white pepper.
This solid EDP can be used alone or as a base to intensify liquid fragrances.
- Light & Dark EDP Spray – Original| £9.50 for 5ml
Whenever I put photos of these travel size EDP sprays from LD on my social media, I get asked if these little gorgeous bottles are lipsticks. They do look really stunning and catch everyone’s attention. Easy to travel with and the bottle is refillable so you don’t worry anything.

Base: Sweet Musk, Cream Vanilla, Light Coconut Sorbet
There is the slightest scent of coconut but don’t assume that you are looking at another “suntan” style fragrance. What you actually get is a hint of coconut mixing beautifully with the musk and staying on your skin when everything else has faded. The vanilla gives a sweetness, but again it’s not at all overpowering.
