I haven’t spent Mother’s Day with my Mum in years but this year I am visiting her 3 days after Mothering Sunday so I will make sure to take something special for her. I am a Mum too and every year my son & husband gift me something nice as a token of love. We also try to spend the day out every year. Last year we went to Gulliver’s Theme Park and had a really amazing time there. Year before we went to Virginia Water Lake & Windsor Park in London which was so beautiful and we had long walks while experiencing scenic waterfalls, lakes and nature. In past few years I received gifts like a new phone, Beauty Subscription etc.
Not sure if we will be able to go somewhere in the UK on Mothering Sunday as that’s the last weekend before we fly abroad and we might be busy packing. But I have received Jimmy Choo for Women gift set as well as few other luxuries as Mothers Day gifts from my boys and I can’t be more excited! The Jimmy Choo set has a the Original Fragrance by the brand and a body milk which together come in a beautiful pink snakeskin box packaging.
About the Fragrance
Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum was launched back in 2011 and it reflects femininity, luxury and style all together. This feminine fragrance is empowering with a lot of sensuality to it. The composition is developed by the famous perfumer Olivier Polge. The textured glass bottle is designed by Tamara Mellon – Co-founder of Jimmy Choo.
A fragrance enveloping the woman with sensuality and seduction, with warm, rich and woody depths. Inspired by modern women – strong, empowered, beautiful, seductive and alluring with a mysterious sense of confident sensuality.

The fragrance has joyful, cheerful and confident character. Its one of that businesswoman kind of fragrance who is wearing a silk blouse with a pencil skirt and high heels with some lacy lingerie underneath making her feel sensual while being confident. The fragrance opens very sweet but mellows down quickly. I would say Pear, Patchouli and Toffee are prominent notes. The sillage is moderate and lasts for about 6-ish hours on me leaving a hint of sweetness after 6 hours. This is my second Jimmy Choo Fragrance (first being Jimmy Choo Flash from 2013) and this one definitely smells a lot more beautiful than Flash.
About the Body Lotion
The perfumed body lotion from Jimmy Choo comes in a soft pink tube and has same fragrance notes. The lingering sensual base notes of sweet toffee meld with Indonesian Patchouli to leave a subtle, sensual memory on the skin. It is great for layering the lotion and perfume together to increase the longevity of fragrance.
I tested this for few days recently but can’t say about the performance in summer. Its definitely a hit during colder months and Jimmy Choo will never let you down! Overall I’m really happy with this set and recommend you checking this out. I just noticed this set is cheapest at Notino compared to other retailers.

It’s so nice that you spend mother’s day with your husband and son and do things together, it’s a beautiful tradition for this special day. I haven’t bought my mum anything yet but I will definitely get her skincare products and maybe a nice blouse for spring!

This fragrance sounds lovely! I havent tried Jimmy Choo fragrances. Ive got to admit, although I think the idea behind Mother’s Day is lovely, I do feel it’s all become very commercialised, and that really bugs me. Xx
