STUNNED – Unexpected & Unconventional Fragrance by Bel Rebel

A few months ago, I sampled all the fragrances from London’s Sustainable & Unconventional Fragrance House – Bel Rebel. While every fragrance was unique, the one that stood out to my nose the most was Bubblegum! The scent was the exact representation of bubblegum that I used to love in my teens. It was nostalgic and it made its mark on my mind! Bel Rebel released its sixth scent this April again a rebellious, deep, and mysterious scent but with unexpected notes – notes that one may not imagine together!

LA VIE EST BELLE INTENSÉMENT Eau de Parfum from Lancôme

La Vie Est Belle Intensément is an Oriental Floral fragrance that was launched in early 2020. Top notes are bergamot, pink pepper and raspberry; middle notes are jasmine sambac, orange blossom and heliotrope; base notes are iris, patchouli, benzoin, vanilla and sandalwood. The fragrance has a brighter opening with a distinctive raspberry accord followed by white florals. Heliotrope and Iris are adding powderiness to the composition. Patchouli is mellowed down here and the fragrance has a sweet gourmand dry down from vanilla.

Pierre Montale used to create fragrances for the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia and decided to introduce the Western World to the magic of Arabian Scents. He then returned to Paris to launch his own niche fragrance brand Montale in 2003. Montale Intense Cafe was launched in 2013 and was created by Pierre Montale. This is the first fragrance I tried from the brand and oh my, I need them all now! This fragrance comes in Eau de Parfum concentration and is quite a popular pick in the Fragrance Community for all good reasons that I have shared in this post.
