Early this year, Lancôme added yet another fragrance to its world-famous La Vie Est Belle range of perfumes. The fragrance is called La Vie Est Belle Intensément which was thought to be the intense flanker of the original La Vie Est Belle but in all honesty, it is a different perfume altogether with slight similarities to the original.

Packaging: The bottle represents happiness so beautifully and the color of the juice clearly tells a story that the fragrance is all about Raspberry notes. There is a red sparkly bow at the neck which adds to the beauty of this bottle. The glass bottle has a curve that represents a smile.

- Base notes: Patchouli Heart, Iris Concrete, Benzoin Resinoid, Vanilla Bean
La Vie Est Belle Intensément is an Oriental Floral fragrance that was launched in early 2020. Top notes are bergamot, pink pepper, and raspberry; middle notes are jasmine sambac, orange blossom, and heliotrope; base notes are iris, patchouli, benzoin, vanilla, and sandalwood. Now after trying this one, I will definitely be trying more from La vie est belle range starting with Lancôme La Vie Est Belle En Rose which is also a fresh floral fragrance with peony and rose in the heart.
Performance: This fragrance has enormous sillage and projects well on my skin. This is very long-lasting and is perfect for all round the year.
Final thoughts: The new Intensement fragrance is slightly similar to the Original but it is more fruity and sweet from raspberry and vanilla. The fragrance has a brighter opening with a distinctive raspberry accord followed by white florals. Heliotrope and Iris are adding powderiness to the composition. Patchouli is mellowed down here and the fragrance has a sweet gourmand dry down from vanilla. The performance is incredible with great sillage and longevity. La Vie Est Belle Intensément can be worn throughout the year but I see this more as a fall/winter scent for women.
