Africa’s Vanishing Species Fall 2019 Collection | Chantecaille

Chantecaille recently launched a permanent set of eyeshadows in their philanthropy collection. This Fall 2019 collection is called Africa’s Vanishing Species Collection and it contains rich, pearlescent, iridescent earth tones eyeshadows that were created to pay tribute to six beautiful creatures -cheetah, elephant, giraffe, lion, pangolin, and rhinoceros. These wild animals are among Africa’s most endangered and face common threats from shrinking habitats, conflict with local communities, and the illegal wildlife trade.

Chantecaille is supporting six charities across the continent, from Namibia to Kenya, to help secure a future for these vulnerable species and the people who live near them.

About the eyeshadows | Luminescent Eye Shades are pearlescent, light-catching eyeshadows that wash the eye with multi-dimensional shimmer. The six shades in the collection are:

Cheetah– Warm Champagne | Supports Cheetah Conservation Fund
Elephant– Shimmering Taupe Grey | Supports Space for Giants
Lion– Golden Copper | Supports Lion Guardians
Giraffe– Burnished Brown | Supports Giraffe Conservation Foundation
Rhinoceros– Sophisticated Olive | Supports Sheldrick Wildlife Trust
Pangolin– Dusky Lilac | Supports Tikki Hywood Foundation

Formula | This gel-powder formula is infused with sophisticated pure-pearl particles to create a wash of color with a dash of dazzle on the eyelid. The eyeshadows are talc-free and are utterly blendable to create an emollient, smooth application.

Performance | These eyeshadows blend like a dream and the shimmer packs a punch. There is no fall-out or creasing with these eyeshadows, which is why I prefer these shimmering ones over glitter. These eyeshadows will look fab for all ages.

Chantecaille nailed the formula and this launch is an exciting addition to Chantecaille’s permanent philanthropy collection – and the first exclusively for eyes. Proceeds from the sale of these eyeshadows will give back by supporting Charities/NGO’s working towards saving these vanishing species of Africa.

These eyeshadows are available for £48 each and can be purchased from Liberty London, Space NK, Harrods, Harvey Nichols, and LookFantastic.

Until next time, Ashh xo
