To Tom Ford, there is no more dramatic accessory than a perfect lip. Tom Ford Lip color in Casablanca is the focus of the face and it has the power to define a woman’s whole look. Each Lip Color is Tom Ford‘s modern ideal of an essential makeup shade. Rare and exotic ingredients including soja seed extract, Brazilian murumuru butter and chamomilla flower oil create an ultra–creamy texture with an incredibly smooth application. Specially treated color pigments are blended to deliver pure color with just the right balance of luminosity.
Packaging: Tom Ford Lipsticks come in a square tube with gold metal accents and brown “paneling” on the exterior of the tube. The outer tube doesn’t hold fingerprints, and there’s a satisfying click when you close the lid of the lipstick, so it stays together better if you toss it around in a bag. The brand’s logo is cut into the tip of the lipstick.
Shade and Finish: As this is my first Tom Ford lipstick, I didn’t want to gamble so wanted to invest in a shade I knew I would wear more often. I therefore chose Casablanca which is a reddened plum with a cream finish and a natural shine.
Tom Ford’s Lipsticks are vanilla scented and do not taste bad (in case you tend to lick your lips).
Pigmentation and Longevity: The lipstick is very creamy and has smooth consistency that enables it to glide on evenly and easily. Even though it is very pigmented, has opaque color and a creamy feel, it doesn’t sit heavily on the lips. It’s comfortable to wear and stays upto 5-6 hours while lightly moisturizing the lips.

Overall thoughts: Though the lipstick comes with a hefty price tag of over 40 quid, I do believe its worth the money. The formula is very hydrating and doesn’t feel heavy on my lips. There is a bit of transfer while drinking tea/coffee but it doesn’t go off completely. It stays upto 6 hours on me without touchup. Its also the shade choice which makes me think I will get so much use out of this one.

That is a gorgeous shade and yes, I agree that it would suits all skin tone. I wasn’t impressed with the one lipstick I got from TF so never bought another. This might change my mind.

Tom Ford is on my to buy list. Yes they are priced premium because their quality and colour pay off is premium.
Its composition speaks the amazing feel of this lipstick. Soja seed extract, Brazilian murumuru butter for all the softness has bagged it a big thumbs up!
Being a brand like Tom Ford you know there is a lot of research and thought put into their lipsticks. The shade you picked would have been my choice too 😉
