Italian fashion house Gucci launched its new fragrance Gucci Bloom in August 2017. This fragrance is the first one under the hands of new Creative Director Alessandro Michele.
“I wanted a rich white floral fragrance, a courageous scent that transports you to a vast garden filled with many flowers and plants. The garden is as beautiful as women are; colorful, wild, diverse, where there is everything,” Alessandro Michele.
Master perfumer Alberto Morillas is the nose behind this fragrance.
Packaging
The perfume comes in a ceramic bottle in blush pink shade with minimal textured waterproof sticker that says Gucci Bloom – very Instagram-able & Minimalistic. The bottle is housed in a card box with blooms in reddish maroon colour.
Notes
Blossoming like a thriving garden, Gucci Bloom’s notes include Tuberose absolute, Jasmine bud extract and Rangoon Creeper, a flower that changes from white to red when it blooms.

The fragrance opens with a sweet tuberose – The most expensive ingredient in the world, destined by a subtle and refined method of enfleurage. The sweetness comes from honeysuckle, a flower from heaven with a gorgeous smell.
The perfume is linear with a tuberose which dominates the other notes. Sweet but not sickly, sharp but not annoying, loud but not disturbing. A classic composition made for all those who love white flowers.
The jasmine notes makes me feel like I’m in the middle of a blooming garden and that’s how Gucci described this fragrance ‘ A Beautiful Garden‘. The dry-down is a little powdery and balsamic maybe due to orris root, but still full of tuberose.
The fragrance is available as 30, 50, 100 & 150 ml Eau de Parfum from Notino and is also available as Gift Sets.
The fragrance is very feminine (in an unapologetic way!). Longevity and Sillage are moderate for me. Its a beautiful day time Spring and Summer Fragrance that smells blooms and screams very expensive. It takes me back to the memories of some fragrances I have smelt in the past (years ago) and makes me happy. The memories may be due to notes of Jasmine but this inoffensive fragrance clearly is a happy choice for warm weather.

The fragrance bottle looks so pretty and I love floral fragrances in general. Jasmine and Tuberose sound heavenly composition.

I’m not easily pleased when it comes to fragrances but the packaging Gucci Bloom is one to have in your collection even for keepsake. It’s just so good! I like that u mentioned about Gift Set option as I prefer that one.
