I have a soft spot for Gucci fragrances with Bloom, Bamboo and Oud on my current fragrance shelf. I must also admit that the Bloom fragrance is my most used so far and I reached for it most days last spring and summer. In 2018 Gucci launched Gucci Bloom Nettare Di Fiori as a sensual and darker interpretation of the original, with additional notes of rose, ginger, osmanthus and patchouli. This fragrance is an intense take on the original and takes it towards slightly musky side.
About the Fragrance
Intense Nettare Di Fiori introduces a new chapter to the world of Gucci Bloom. The fragrance is developed in creative collaboration with master perfumer Alberto Morillas. The original scent is intensified into a Chypre Floral version that captures the authentic character of a woman.
The scent conveys a deeper sense of femininity in the woody, sensual blend with top notes of Ginger and Rose, and a soft, enigmatic finish with base notes of Patchouli, Musks and Osmanthus.
Packaging
The fragrance is presented in a lacquered bottle, reminiscent of porcelain, in a vintage powder pink shade with a black Herbarium print Gucci label appliqué. The bottle looks very chic and attractive sitting on the dressing table. It goes in line with the original Bloom fragrance.

- Top notes of Ginger and Rose
- Natural tuberose harvested from India
- Jasmine bud extract, obtained through an exclusive method of co-extraction to impart a fresh green and petal scent on the skin
- Rangoon Creeper, embodying the fragrance’s concept and name, the slightly powdery floral scent is captured as the flower blooms from white and gradually darkens to pink, then red
Projection and Longevity
Like original Bloom fragrance, the Nettare Di Fiori has impressive silage as well. It makes a bubble around you and stays there for hours. Longevity is pretty impressive considering its mainly a floral fragrance. It lasts for about 5-6 hours on my skin and then slightly fades. I do like to spritz on my clothes too so it lasts even longer.
The fragrance comes in 30, 50 and 100 ml bottles. There is also an option to purchase a travel size of 7.4 ml in case you want to sample it first before committing to full size. You may purchase these from Notino.
Overall thoughts
Nettare Di Fiori is as beautiful as the original Bloom fragrance. The addition of dark intense notes makes it more suitable for colder weather. However, the fragrance is distinctly floral right from the outset and justifies the Bloom Collection. You get the full force of the white flowers. They are creamy, sweet, symphonic and fresh. The fragrance is sensual, feminine and sophisticated.

The notes of ginger and rose definitely gives a different textures. It’s impressive that that fragrance stays for long hours and it’s available in travel size also which definitely make it must try.
