Trésor means Treasure in French and this range was first launched in 1952. The range has been huge and popular from Lancôme and the brand has released so many different versions of Trésor to date. This one is one of the most beautiful releases so far!
Top Notes: Raspberry, Rose
Middle Notes: Pepper, Jasmine, Peony, Blackcurrant
Base Notes: Musk , Cedarwood & Vanilla
Fragrance Family: Floral woody musk fragrance
This is a syrupy or jam raspberry cocktail perfume with a dense syrupy rose and a hint of peony. The fragrance opens up very sweet and sticky but it dries down so beautifully and mellows down the sweetness. The fragrance has strength and intensity which makes it last quite long. If you’re after a rose perfume, this fragrance is definitely worth trying and owning! This fragrance will also work great as a Christmas present.
Performance: Sillage is pretty strong and really projects for about 3 to 4 hours. The fragrance lasts a very long time about 8 hours on my skin and I like to spritz it on my scarfs too just to amp up the projection a bit more.
Final thoughts: This is a full-bodied fragrance that doesn’t get a lot of attention but it does deserve a bit more talking. It is very thick and sweet but has a beautiful and balanced dry down. The winning note is the musk at the dry down which balances the sweetness of the fragrance. It is a very seductive, sexy, and romantic fragrance that is perfect for colder nights when it can perfectly develop. It is great for settings like Date night, Parties, Red carpet events. I would recommend it for autumn and winter.
